red collection

The copper red or langyao hong or Sang-de-boef is one of the most sought after and at the same time the most difficult to achieve. We were not in search of the perfect red, there were no desires, just expressions of the unknown. We wanted to celebrate the volatility of the glaze to run its own destiny, express itself in ways it chose to. Every time we fired a piece, the  glaze adorned the forms as they were meant to be.

 

These pieces are part of a limited edition collection and only a few pieces have been sculpted and thrown for each form design.
